Ill be honest. IM NOT going to, and do not want to, spend £300 on a bloody machine polisher. Im trying to save up and the thought of buying a machine polisher just pisses me off.

How long does scratch X take to remove scratches thern ? i hear its bloody agers and is hard work. but how long am i looking at just to tidy up the bonnet ?

It takes a long time to do a small area. Each 12 inch by 12 inch area can take 5-10 applications to make any real improvement. Bear in mind that each application you need to work the product till it is gone which can take 5 mins of so. It is a long process and tiring. It is also very rarely 100% succesfull.

IMO look for someone local to polish the car for you either on here or of Detailing World.

Scratch-X can also make individual panels look darker and I'd not bother with it. I used it to sort out a problem area on the bonnet of my previous R32 Golf and it never really recovered.

For really deep scratches go to a reputable paint repair specialist or get the whole car done by someone like Miracle Detail as said above IMO.

mmm ok then. f**k it. i cba with the car anymore lol. Ill just continsure washing, egp and srp'ing the damm thing. want a new car real bad. poverty spec expression is pissing me off now.
