Meguiar's Aggressive Detailing Clay

I have some light overspray on my roof, i have used clay bars before but need something a bit more aggresive,my car is silver with a clear coat, it says it is safe with a clearcoat

any tips would be helpful, would a hand polish and wax be ok after or would it need a machine polish ?
how many passes would be safe as im a bit worried about damaging the clear coat ?

Clay is a good bet at removing overspray, but it will typically induce it's own marks that will require polishing out. It won't remove clearcoat

How long has it been there, maybe the use of a chemical cleaner might help first

A few week, i have got alot off with another clay bar but it wasnt that aggresive and there is some still left, what type of chemical cleaner?
