Meguiars Deep Crystal Car 3 Stage Set

  LY 182 FF CUPPED
I don't rate it one bit!!....takes up too much time and effort
If you are on a tight budget.......Firstly wash your car....correctly (2 bucket method)......clay your car....and for products on a budget I recommend Auto Glym Super resin polish...and to seal it Auto Glym Extra Gloss Protection...simple but effective.

People seem to rely a lot on "products"....but preperation is key to a good finish...hence the clay...
Also....set aside some spare cash for decent cloths and applicator sponges etc.
If you are new to Auto Glym products.....I recommend building a few layers of EGP to get the finish that will turn heads .

Not a fan of the Megs 3 stage either. The paint cleaner is ok, but the other 2 are far supassed by AG SRP and EGP which looks better and is about 3 times more durable.

As said. Paint cleaner is good, but the other two I have ditched and used AG SRP and EGP. They are both really easy to use as well.

  Inferno 182 w/ Recaros ;)
I've been using stage 2 polish of it for a while now, the thing that put me off SRP after I'd been using it is that I found out that it fills in the scratches. I didn't like the sound of it too much, maybe I'll experiment. Got to get round to doing the whole car, its in need of it. Managed to clay the dead insects off the other day, got a lot more work to do on the damned thing!

i use stage 1 and 2 but use zymol titanium instead of stage 3, looks pretty good, to be honest though whatever products you use it's down to technique rather than which brand is better than others.

as said before there's no point slapping loads of polish onto a car thats got tree sap or other stuff stuck into the paint and needs to be clayed or machine polished and expecting it to come out looking like new again,

Buy a few applicator pads and some decent microfiber cloths they do a better job than old t shirts, wash them after every use but dont use a detergent that contains fabric softeners.

It is very hard work to get off once it dries. Durability is reasonable tho. I prefer a wipe on wipe off wax mostly because im lazy when it comes to waxing the car and I dont have a PC. lol

Dont know what you class as decent durability the stage 3 lasts no more than a few weeks compared to a few months for EGP.

got sum megs paint cleaner today with AG SRP and some EGP, havnt tried the AG stuff yet but im not fully impressed with the megs, it cleaned off the stuck on muck a treat specially round the rubber seals but doesnt work to well with light oxidation which it claims to

Sh1t...its a waste of time..theres better one step products that do the same job if not better for less time and effort!!

  Recaro'd 182
