Meguiars product range help

ok, need to give the megane its first proper wash and i fancy trying the mequiars products. Am still going to use the zymol concours glaze as it was expensive but very good.

Just wondering though, wheres the best place to buy meguiars and get it for the weekend for the cheapest price please?

also, they seem to do several shampoo's, gold class, NXT etc. Which is the best to buy please?

also, thinking of trying one of these wash mitts but do i get the lambs wool one or the microfibre one? Then to dry it off, so i get a terry towel or a microfibre?

Please could someone point me in the right direction fo the products i will need excluding the waxing, so just the washing element.

i get better results from AutoGlym... which was cheap as chips as FCS as the people at the trade stand were rounding prices down to the nearest £5 lol.

Halfords sell the entire AG range, often on 3 for 2. So do the smaller stores like A1 shops etc.

I really don't like Meguires products tbh.

Autoglym seem to give much better results for much less work. Maybe thats me and most liking operator error, but I never have a ' god that looks worse than when i started' moment when using AG stuff.

I must admit i like AG more than Megs.

i use the gold class shampoo myself, get both lambswool and microfibre

to dry the car get a waffle weave towel

whats the difference between a lambs wool mitt and a microfibre one?

Autoglym vs Meguiars Shampoos - I would take the Gold Glass Megs over the AG Shampoo. The Megs NXT Shampoo is not one I would use, not that wax friendly. If your using the Concours on your paint why skimp when it comes to the soap to wash it with?

The 182 is currently wearing Zymol Destiny, a quick wash last night night with the Zymol Shampoo and it looks as good as when the wax was first applied. Other than that I have had good results with Megauiars Shampoo Plus (15 quid for 3 litres) and Duragloss Wash (About Fiver) over Zymol finishes.

Lambswoool over MF wash mitts every time - much softer again don't buy the Megs ones over priced and poor quality.

The NXT Comes in one size the Gold Glass two. For the same size I don't think there is much cost wise. Neither are as good as there pro-line ones - Shampoo Plus or Hyper Wash which are cheap as chips and work well.
