Melted Fuse Board

  Renault Clio MK3 1.2
Hello Everyone,

I have a 2005 (55) Renault Clio, pictured below.

The other day I noticed I hadn't been able to switch on my dipped beam headlights. Long story short, I took it into my local Kwik-Fit and they showed me that the fuse board had partly melted along with the relay for the dipped beam lights (full beam work fine). The mechanic suggested I get a new fuse board fitted and then told me this would roughly cost £250.00 to get the part and fit it!!

I am trying to save money, and would appreciate it if anyone could direct me as to where to look for a second hand fuse board for my Renault Clio. In addition to this, I don't actually know what mark my Clio is so I would also appreciate it if someone could tell me that so I can have a look for spare parts.

I'm new to the forum so I hope this post is in the right place. I would be grateful for any input as you guys know more than me.

Many Thanks,

- Harry
