Read a thread on PistonHeads a while back from people that had been to the live recordings... basically all said the same thing that in between takes and during break times Clarkson & May would walk around chatting to people and generally getting involved and enjoy themselves. Whereas Hammond walks off and does his own thing and doesn't want to talk to any fans etc. not sure it's fully fair to judge a person on this but most people seem to think he's an arse lol.

I've seen Hammond on a few things now outside TG, and he does seem difficult.

He was on the One Show, and 8 Out of 10 Cats, both times he just seemed argumentative and not really very funny. Never had an issue with him on TG though, back when he was the 'young' one he was good, but these days, not so good.

Good point, actually a genuine possibility, does seem about the right time.

you can see a change in him from old episodes to poost crash his eyes and facial expressions look different imo

Wouldn't think that because of how is he on tv. I thought he would have been 1 of them sort of people that would love to speak to his fans. Amazing what people can be like behind closed doors.
