mental block Flash/Actionscript 2.0

trying to make some text into a clickable link to open a new explorer window.

Ive done it before a couple of years ago, but i have no idea now and I'm pulling my hair out.

Turn the text into a MC, I do MC's for everything.

Then use the MC.onClick sequence to open a URL.
