'The fifth game in the series has now been confirmed via a teaser for the next issue of the Official PlayStation Magazine in the UK.

Kojima is set to occupy the cover of the next issue of OPM, and along with that comes word that he will be openly discussing his plans for Metal Gear Solid 5. No other details outside of the game's confirmation were revealed.'


Will be interesting to see what they come up with for the new one, environment, main characters etc...

Altogether now Snake! Snaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaakkkkeeee!!!!

This. More videos in 4 than actual gameplay. And no much stealth going on either. More time doing direct combat, which snake is crap at.

I gave up years ago when stealth missions seemed to be unaffected by wearing horse shoes on metal walk ways. The ultimate stealth simulator. I'm sure it was better with a steering wheel though.

i havent played mgs since the first one on the playstation, i loved every minute of it, an i was only young so took me a year to complete it. such a brilliant game. i did try and play the other mgs they first bought out on the playstation 2, but wasnt keen on it. How have the mgs games been for you lot that play it, are they still good? and what characters are stilll going? i remember meryll, liquid snake and all that lol

Keep your money IMO. unless you can get one uber cheap. Mine only gets the dust cleared off it for the uncharted series. Aside from that it doesn't get a look in compared to my xbox.

In the end my xbox broke and I bought a PS3.

I have only ever played MGS4 on it. Now it is sat under my furniture gathering dust.

I also loved going back through Snake eater on the 360. Got to complete snake eater than the 360 gave up for good so didnt go through MGS2 again. Forgot how epic it was.
