Metal Hangers In Boot

I just "fitted" my genuine Renault plastic boot tray, absolutely spot on fit, and it had these 2 wee slits that sit at the furthest in side of the boot, then I noticed 2 metal hangers right behind the rear seats on the floor which is what the 2 slits were for,

Just wondered, WTF are these 2 metal hangers, cant find anything relating to them in my owners manual, although I did think they were for attaching a boot cargo net to, except theres no other metal hangers at the opposite end of the boot to attach a boot cargo net to.

any ideas??

They are for attaching the cargo net to, tis how it is on my 172 anyway

hmm, where are the other 2 hangers for attaching the cargo net to?

as said the 2 mentioned were the only 2 I could find.

there are 2 additional ones u screw into the panel below the boot lid which you only have if u have the net afaik
