whats the difference between metalic wax and normal wax apart from the price?

there would be no difference for WAX

polish is a different matter, as its abrasive.......the metallic version will be less abrasive, true wax is not abrasive whatsoever

A wax is generally defined as a fat derived substance that is solid at room temperature and is water insoluble in water. BRUN is quite right.
