Metallic clunking?

I hear this loud metallic CLICK or CLUNK sound sometimes in my car, its been ever since ive fitted these damn steelies!!

Anyway, i cant make it happen... i just hear it randomly. Most often when i first get in the car / pull away it sounds like a cow bell is attached under my car but its only one note then it goes away! However its worrying me.

have you fitted them tight enough?

I had a similar problem in my last car which was a fiesta. Every time i set off, i would hear a clunking noise.i wouldnt hear it again untill i came to a complete stop and set off again. It turned out it was the inner cv joint on the driveshaft.

just a thought.

Ok mate will check the fitting on the wheels again, that could be a possible explanation
