Lotus elise? The k series is actually a very good engine. Yes it suffered with hgf but once done, and if done properly with the mls gasket it don't tend to happen again.

He also doesn't say if it's a VVC model, i reckon it's just the normal one.

Had one a few years back, spent the money on sorting the HGF so it wouldnt go on me, nice miltek stainless and some pro race...went like stink. Was the VVC abingdon edition...really nice car to drive...

early models dont have power steering aswell iirc. Its was a toss up between one of these and a meggy cab for the mrs. Got a 1998 1.6 meggy cab fr 700quid 80k serive history 12months mot 6 months tax much better than these!!

I had a TF, kept it for 3 months and then traded it in for the clio. It was an impulse buy, that my dad told me not to get. But being a woman I didnt listen, it wasnt a bad car tho.

Correct. However that was only the very early ones. By that age it will have e-pas......which will probably be fcuked anyway.

Good fun cars, initial purchase price will be cheap now. But they do have faults !
