MGS1 Remake?

Clip at the end. Anyone know anything about it? Were the devs just taking the piss a bit or is this a legit thing?

I know the MGS series is coming to XBL in "HD" which is cool because I want to replay snake eater. But an MGS1 remake in the MGS4 engine would be pretty cool.

What is it with games companies remaking their older games?

They are doing the same with Halo 1 and calling it the Anniversary Edition.

Nevertheless, would be pretty cool being an MGS fan.

iirc the MGS HD Collection isn't actually a full collection as it doesn't include the first one in the series lol, something to do with the rights not being released for it to be updated, and I don't think it includes the 4th either, so it's basically just 2 and 3...

MGS1 was epic. I used to be scared of some of the bosses, as I was quite young when I used to play it.

MGS2 was shite.

Snake eater was okay, but sneer finished it. Got to the part where that psychic thing was floating above a river of all the dead people. I was like WTF, could never figure out what to do.

He's obviously grown up a bit since then (as obviously have we lol) some of his newer stuff is pretty funny tbh
