Or a hell of a way to destroy your main competition. The loss from PS software sales would likely be offset by the legion of COD fans switching hardware

But the Xbox (and ps5) will likely be near impossible to get again this year according to some reports. No one will switch if you can't get the console.

Can't see them sacking off PS5 games, after all they still sell PC games on Steam despite having their own terrible store they could force people to use

How so? MS are/were the 2nd most valuable company at the end of last year. Hardly "dumpster".

Financially yes, morally, ehhh. No doubt not much worse than most huge corporations but they definitely could be better.

No chance they'll sack off PS5 players imo. At least new COD's will be on game pass. Maybe they'll finally allow Xbox users to turn off crossplay too but that's probably optimistic.
