Microsoft word assistance

Hope this is the right place for this...

I've been sent a font 'file.' to be included into our MS word. How do i do this? Probably very simple but not my forte.

It's a .dfont file. At the moment this font isn't in our list.

Anyone help?

Start>Explore>Windows>(somewhere in here you should find fonts I believe - drop the file in there)

copy the font file
start > control panel > fonts > edit > paste
see if it shows up in word.

Go to Start then Run

Type fonts

Drop it in that folder

May need to close and reopen Word maybe

Just right-click on the Font File and click "Install"

Done, unless that function isn't available on .dfont formats?
