Mid range standard steering wheel?

Currently my ph1 172 has a poverty spec steering wheel in, is there a mid range wheel that ph1 Mk2s had, thats better than the horrible basic one but not ruined or expensive like the proper 172 one?

I ask as this seller on eBay says that this wheel is "leather effect...much nicer than the easily worn 172 one" and my current one certainly cannot be described as leather effect.

Have a lookout for a rear ended 197 without deployed airbags that would make a nice upgrade but a b**ch to fit i'm told
