Middo's Yellow Submarine Gets Its First PC

Yep that looks awsome! It's certainly one of the nicest Ph1's I've seen for some time. I imagine this colour on a 172 is rare.
The first shot of it in the garage makes it look almost Acid Yellow.

PS. I want those wheels!!!!!!

Looks amazing! Had'nt realised how badly it had faded until now! A squillion times better!

Andy, can you do mine please, lol.

Looks fantastic Mark! :)

Love these pics best!

Looks amazing! just cant wait till my cleaning stuff comes in the post!!

Do you need to tape up all of the plastic parts no matter if its done by hand or machine? Oh, and what stage is the tape needed?

^^ hardly!! remember seeing yours at FCS last year and was impressed so should be mint with the H&R's on.

have got the calipers on the to do list but unsure on what colour to go for. its a call between black for the oe look, silver for a nice look and yellow for colour coded.

put the tape on just to stop the pc catching them and staining them moreso than currently

oh middo you should get some location shots of your motor done set it infront of something industrial it'd make the yellow stand out loads and seeing all the interesting reflections in the paint etc.

Stay away from yellow calipers, silver or black for me imo :approve:

still not decided. was going with silver but having seen andys today im still tempted by yellow.

lol i havent got a camera so rely on others to post pics for me. when we've sorted andys motor im sure we'll go take some proper pics :approve:

if you want a 3rd clio to pop along to make some more interesting pics i'll be up for it (work permitting)

give me a few mins i'll do some quick ps of the calipers show you roughly what it'd look like

I've go so much to do.

Got to have a whole rear quarter resprayed, tempted to bite the Lloyds TSB pillow and get the front bumper, bumpstrips and door handles done.

Need to fit in a wheel refurb too, not enough days left to be honest :(

lol know the feeling. havent had time to get my doorhandles and boot lock sprayed but probably nip it up the bodyshop next week. £30 well spent imo

Still at least B&Q gave me a summer bonus to help towards it!!

dont get me started on mine, it was fooking s**t. hardly worth getting seeing how they screwed me over on my contract.

management at B&Q are at best a bunch of w*****s imho.

not the best photoshops i've ever done but the photo's were a bit dark to be able to pick out the original caliper properly,

i've sort of guessed the shape of the caliper as mine arn't on the car anymore for me to cross reference with.
