Midnight Blue Audi S5 Cabriolet Enhancement Detail

Hi guys, thought this little turnaround would be of interest to some!


I was contacted by a loyal customer to carry out an enhancement/new car detail on this year-old Audi S5.

With the wash work and decontamination done, the car was pulled inside for correction.


Overall the car came up very well with a single stage polish using the Rupes Bigfoot system.

All four corners were corrected as well.

The fabric roof was sealed with GTechniq I1.

We also had a visit from the owner of this 1939 Jaguar XF150 (Due in next week), who also owns a 1921 Bentley!


Bodywork and wheels were protected with GTechniq EXO and C5. Trims protected with C4. Glass was sealed with GTechniq G1.


The end result after 20 hours of detailing!

This was an enhancement detail, so not chasing every scratch. There were a lot of deeper scratches on the car.

Yeah, that makes sense, just seems a little pointless for the owner to pay you to do half a job lol.

In my opinion anyways.

Quite a few reasons not to go further.

Price and time-wise to remove those deeper scratches efficiently it will be double the cost as Kev says.

Just been a bit lazy in not renewing gally , paid up now

Fantastic job there, those swirls were terrible! What were they using to clean it a brillo?

I would guess the local united nations jetwash has cleaned the car judging by the swirls.

Also is this only a 1 year old car,it has 2010 headlights as the new ones have the surround daylights.
