Milltek decat issues or maybe decat in general

Had my milltek system and decat fitted for around a year now,and still pretty happy with it but for the past 4 months or so my engine management light has started coming on every 1000 miles to say I have a faulty cat (never lol) it stays on for around 70-100 mile then goes off again for another 1000 mile.

I've put up with it for 4 months but its starting to do my tits in :S anyone else had same problems,a few have said to try a spark plug non fouler but cant seem to find one in the uk

I know the easiest way to sort it is refit the cat before anyone says I have no plans in doing this :nono:

Sounds like your lambda sensor that goes into your decat is on its last legs . Can get 1 off ebay for about £50 .

There's two so how would I know which one ?

it will be the second one the second one has a heater element inside it

new lambda is not going to sort it.. second lambda does f**k all anyway, leave it.


The first lambda however, this one is important for the ecu for correct mixture/fueling of the engine. When this one goes faulty the car will go in to an "emergency run" and will barely be able to drive.
