Miltek exhaust

  Clio 182 inferno
Miltek exhaust for my 182
£450 fitted
Will it be any good folks, cant say i know much!
Will it make any difference to the power?

It is 7kg lighter than standard suppose to give 6-7 more bhp and sounds great! on a serious note if you go for this exhaust make sure you get genuine renault exhaust mounts as you will go through like anything as i don't believe the weight balance is very good. and as above it is very possible it will start to blow after a while!

it's not that the exhuast it's self that will be a problem it's the fact that when they are fitted most garage will simple saw throught the down pipes and rely on the clamps preventing any blowing but they don't! The exhuast will move alot more than the standard putting alot of pressure on the clamps rather than being one complete unit!

In my opinion all depends on how much you care for your cars health. If you are wanting a new exhuast just for sound then be it's short term enjoyment for potential long term health probelms (= money and time).
If your one gonna have your car a year or two and just enjoy it before selling then after markets exhaust are for you! if your in it for the long term don't bother just my opinion

Fitting problems dont cause welds on the exhaust to break though which leads to nice holes in the exhaust, thats down to poor manufacturing

ive had my milltek on for 2 years and never had any problems with welds, if your the original purchaser of it, it comes with a lifetime anti-corrosion and manufacturing defect warranty anyway

me too never had a problem with weld had mine about year and a half

True but nothing should be used on a stainless steel exhaust anyway because you should not get any problems with them 'You said it yourself'

I know this because I'm stood in a unit with a lad that's welding a miltek exhaust up on a 182 because it has cracked in 5 places.

Go for the milltek, had mine on a good while now, no blowing, no cracked welds and along with a decat it sounds brilliant IMO...have a video of mine, will fire it up soon.

I love my Milltek , just cos it's very quite on low revs and love the deep sound when you give it some.
Still, Milltek quality assurance is literally s**t, dont expect anything like a Yozza in that reguard.
Its just a matter of luck, no cracks on mine.
