Minted Monaco - lowered pics

Last week I fitted some Apex 40mm lowering springs aswell as a carbon cup splitter and cup rear spoiler (which needs painting) and today I gave the monaco a really good clean inside and out and treated all the leather! In a few weeks its going to RS Tuning for a supercharger fitting so I took a good few snaps of the whole car so I have pics before and after the conversion.

Does look good though, not 100% sure on the wheels but it's a clean example

Not worried about it being a handfull with 250 horsepower and apex springs??

they've made mine a handfull with 170 horsepower! haha

lol, I bought the springs a while ago, before I decided I was going to supercharge it. They are a temporary measure until I can get some coilovers.

The exhaust was on the car when I bought it, Im not a massivefan tbh. Im planning to get a k-tec resessed exhaust anytime soon.

Yeah it is quite loud! Its 2.5" straight through from the cat though with the silencer removed. Not too loud, just right. Dont know what it will be like with just the back box though??

I'll be on the look out for a cup spoiler soon and am thinking about the Apexs as well. 17s don't look overly big either. I was thinking Supers or Ultras but in 15s or 16s.

What's the ride like on the 17s and Apexs?

Yeah it did have pro race on it, in white, there on ebay at the min, end tomorrow.

the ride is ok on 17", cant really say the same for the apex springs though, very very bumpy! they will be for sale when I get my coilovers though. Thats gunna be when the conversion is finished. All the parts for the conversion are here - just waiting for the intercooler form forge now!! Cannot wait
