Mis-firing 1.2 Clio

Hi Guys

Im after a bit of technical help cos renault dont seem to be able to sort the wifes car.
Its an 04 1.2 Dynamique.
It was in just over two weeks ago (27th march) because the engine management warning light came on & it was misfiring & lack of power intermitently.
They said they repaired the wiring loom to the oxygen sensor which had chafed through.
Light came on again on tuesday and misfire was back, so took it back yesterday. They said they updated the computers software and it is fine now, which it was for a couple of hours then started missing again intermitently.
It also was missing a bit this morning when she drove to work.
I have already phoned renault and it is going back again on tuesday.

Sorry about the long thread but i want to give as much info as poss so perhaps one of you tech guys can help.

2004 reg sounds like a ph2. Probably coil pack/spark plugs, this engine seems to eat threw them. Exactly same problem i had on mine.

Ye it is a ph2. Someone else suggested coils so i think i will mention coils when i take it in again on tuesday.
