Well getting p**ed off now, had a misfire at 2k and started sounding like a scooby. Changed leads, coil pack and plugs and its still doing the same, What should i do/check next????

Thought about that, but it starts on all 4 cylinders then after a min it starts sounding like a scooby! once over 2-3k the power is back as normal. Oh yeah emissions light is on too

Well i put my code reader on and i came up with the code PO135, Then i deleted it. cars been running like crap for half hour now and the code has not reappeared

Just checked and the code is upstream lambda sensor, cant believe a lambda sensor can cause that big a problem!!!!

Oh definitely they can.

Having a similar issue. When the upstream lambda sensor doesn't send any voltage I get no power at all

Yup... I had the same problem. The upstream lambda adjusts fuelling when cold / up to 4000rpm so if it's fautly all manner of weird s**t starts happening. Mine was doing the same as yours, then flooding the engine causing it to nearly stall, then picking back up and backfiring massively. £60 and 10 mins with a 22mm spanner... fixed.

The garage says it is the front lambda sensor which is f**ked, they swapped front with back and it ran ok even though the readings from the sensor are high. So getting a new front lambda 2moro
