missfire and havecodes please help!!

can any body please help .. my car was missfiring and spluttering [now and again] not all the time just sometimes. so put it on diagnostics and its coming up with
1. o2 sensor bank 1 sensor 1 code p130
2.cylinder 2 missfire cose po302
what does this mean as i want to buy the parts and replace em because its driving me mad when it does splutter. so far i have changed the exhaust to a sportex cat back as the last one was blowing very badly. replaced injector number 2 and just gave it a oil change and replaced spark plugs. its smoother but the splutter is still there. sometimes its fine and sometimes it just starts spluttering and hesitates. i noticed when its cold its fine. when its warm sometimes its fine and sometimes it starts spluttering again . happens at any random time. please help

The misfire code is a generic codes and not renault so might not be right what car is it

Have you replaced ht leads or coil and maybe by any any chance have you put leads on wrong

Also your oxy sensor can bring up misfire code in cases could be few things to check really and kinda egnor first reply

thanks for replying matey i see your from oldbury . i am too live just 5 mins in smethwick/oldbury,i already swapped the ht leads,plugs,injector number 2 and gave it a oil change even changed the exhaust. does the o2 sensor mean something for exhaust. ? them are the 2 codes that came up on the diagnostics...so wanted to know what they mean etc its a clio 182 cup mate

A code P0302 may mean that one or more of the following has happened: Faulty spark plug or wire Faulty coil (pack) Faulty oxygen sensor(s) Faulty fuel injector Burned exhaust valve Faulty catalytic converter(s) Running out of fuel Poor compression Defective computer

I think bank one is pre cat if that's faulty would bring up missfire one yeah I'm oldbury just off Newbury lane way.

yeah im up there alot mate as i have a mate on wallace road just off newbury lane.. so does it mean its the lambda sensor mate if so does bank 1 mean its the one beofre the cat or after the cat as i saw 2 lambda sensors on the exhaust one is before cat the other is after cat

I always got the P0302 when I decatted my old mk2.

To see if 02 sensor faulty you need to get it read again to see if if it's switching plus what car ya mate got on Wallace I'm on ascot by dolls house pub

i know one guy that used to have a sierra cossie on that road hes sold it . i know quite a few people in that area ... and my mate lives on that road hes just got a audi he has a 182 but its in storage at the moment hes only had it 3 weeks..i had itread 3 times mate and keeps coming up with them 2 faults. a guy on here kindly let me come to hes house today to see what comes up and again these 2 codes come up . just want to know which lamda to change as im rubbish at this i used to own a black escort rs turbo zetec powered which i sold and now have a series 1 custom but thats for weekends.. i use the clio 182 daily only had it 6 months so dont know much about it as i like the old skool stuff. just love the clio as its nippy and a good daily car mines racing blue

Never seen it around mate tbh yeah I love my old skill cars used to have mk1 golf cabriolet gti bout 6 months ago love my fords to my mate got little mk2 fiesta turbo pretty fast and it's pre cat mate one before cat bank 1 is if you need any help just msg here as I'm only round corner I don't mind giving u helping hand

going to just drive it mate and get the lambda sensor from euros next week and then fit it andd see if it cures the problem bud. drop me a pm with your contact i can drop you a text when im about again would love to see yours
