missfire?

hi all
got a phase 1 172 sport
when the fuel level gets just at the red reserve bit its starts 2 missfire if i accelerate hard the car has a powerloss spluttery like a missfire does any 1 else get this is it just down to lack of fuel? or you reckon the plugs should be changed as it seems a bit lumpy on tickover? can any 1 help?

mine struggles a bit more when very low on fuel. I advise fill up before the red light as all you're doing is using all the s**t at the bottom of the tank.

yeh i do normally but i just let it get a bit low once and it started just got a bit worried
