missfire

Morning all,

My phase 2 172 has a miss fire on number 3. I have replaced plugs leads and coil but still missfires. In the process though I broke the sensor on the inlet that is just above the yellow oil fill cap, I have put a bung in the inlet as a temp fix but number 3 still doesn't fire. Any ideas I think maybe an injector is stuck open?

Deffo an injector! I had a similar problem last year and it caused all sorts of problems!

The cat ended up melting due to wrong amount of fuel in the engine and then almost blocked up completely! On the plus side, Ive now de-cat

Yes get an injector and it will be fine we supply loads of them
