missing car parts on 182

have just spoken to the dealer to ask them where my front splitter is (for the cup spoiler pack) and my cargo net and mats and they havent got a clue. Said they have had four cars in with the same options and none of them had them and nobody else has mentioned it! Said he cant order the front splitter as it has no part number and the other items will have to go on back order!

How annoying is that, at least I get my car but without the missing parts which they cant tell me when they can get them.

Do you think I should contact Renault Cus services and complain and ask for some sort of compensation like a free service or just take it on the chin and wait for them to turn up?

well you paid for them so they MUST supply them

ask for a refund the cup spitter is £140 on its own

and the mats are stupid money

Same things happend with Cups, they wouldnt fit the splitter till it reached the dealer incase they got damanged/ripped off when transporting them.

The splitter as Tom said is about £140 and the mats are about £120, so make sure you dont let this go, either get the splitter + mats or get a refund then get a carbom splitter from k-tec (much better, out soon and about £40 cheaper than renault) and get mats from justmatz for £60

£129 for the mats aaaahahahahahaha they are Market quality! Mine have warn through in 10k. Deffo get a refund on those and get some autostyle ones!

Which dealer are you getting your car from? Youre Midlands area arent ya?

KDFs post above mentioned that they didnt fit the splitter until after transport cos it might get damaged. If I were you Id have a good look where the splitter should be to make sure it hasnt been knocked off or the area damaged.

If it were me, Id kick up a bit of a fuss.

yes I am midlands, its from Sutton PK in Coventry, have looked at where the splitter should be and there isnt any damage. They have had a good look around and cant find it, and I think they have had a good look because at the moment they are having to pay for the one which is ordered as they signed the shipping note as it being complete. Have now spoken to Jeremy Townsend and he has told me that it is the same part as the 172 CUP so I have informed the dealer and theya re goin g to order one of those for me in the morning so hopefully that should solve that one.

Spoke to Renault customer services and they said I have to speak to the dealer and can only mention compensation once they have solved everything, then I need to get the dealer to discuss this with cus services!

Hopefully it will all end up going well but im keeping everything crossed!

i would but who to, its not the dealers fault as it seems it is the import centre who should have supplied them, but I cant have a go at them and then cus services say I need to speak to the dealer until it has been solved!
