Mk 1 172-Highest mileage

Hi All,

I have owned my Mk 1 172 since new-Jan 2001. I now have 50,000 miles on the clock. I was wondering does anyone else have similar mileage.

Yeh mate.....I have 51k on the clock and got hold of mine in Feb 2003, its an X-reg.

My mates 2001 Y-Reg 172 is on nearly 90k miles now!

Its his company car though, so mainly all motorway, but in all the time it has hardly had any problems...

worked on a phase 1 172 at work which had almost reached 120,000 miles. tell you what though it didnt suffer from it as it went like sh*t of a shovel.

mines done 79,000 and it goes like a rocket.!
