Mk 2 phase bumper on a ph1?

Hi, Just wonderin if anyone has a ph2 bumper on there Mk2 ph1 clio, and whether it took much to fit on?

Na Ive not but I know if its the back its a simple swap. Take off the lights, unscrew the bolts, take the bumper and inner arches off and then just put the new one on and maybe need new inner arch liners cant remember that bit!

I'm in the process of putting a Ph2 172 bumper on mine

yeah, its for the back, got my bumper at home, just not sure it will go on easy, coz under the boot lid we have 4 bolts goin through the bumper on the ph2 there is only 2?

I think its a pretty simple swap mate, Day could you get some pics if theres any tricky bits to do and let us know about those arch liners, chaars

how much you pay for your Conlon? I just bid on one on ebay but it went up to £20 so let it go.

Overall cost £30 but been givin me mate lifts to work an back and he aint give me any petrol money so he paid for it

Not much to it, just gota drill a couple of holes to line up with the mounts in the ph1 bootlid. You can make out where I have drilled to fit the ph2 on mine in this pic >

no need to drill it, it only needs the two bolts to support it

under the bumper on the shell is EXACTLY the same between the mk2 ph1 and the ph2

ok cheers for that guys, so what about the arch liners?

Cheers that clears things up, wasnt sure wether all of them brackets behind the bumper would fit
