Yes or no? Not for me, just general opinions. I thought it would look over-wheeled, but in this picture at least, which is a photoshop BTW, I think it just about manages to pull it off? 30 profile rubber :S

Epic colour also.

Well it's not like the 19s are light, but yeah these won't improve handling. Interestingly, after I had my brakes fitted, I was sure that the front end felt more responsive, just that bit more willing to turn-in. The other day, I found out why when rummaging through a box of old bits from my car. The RS OEM brake callipers are MASSIVELY heavy compared to the AP items. The AP guy reckons they're 8kg lighter EACH than the Ford units. Having handled both, I believe him. Boring but true.

love the wheels but just not on the RS, just doesn't look right with the lairy syling and colour, their more suited to smooth less 'fussy' cars

you would probably get away with 20's not looking 'over wheeled' but 19's are as far as i'd go, screw the ride on 30 profile lol :S

I had the same with my previous car. The standard 1 piece worn to death 312mm disc was heavier than the brand new 2 piece 363mm disc I replaced it with. The caliper was about a quarter of the weight too. ( I actually weighed them )

IIRC anything wheel/brake wise is unsprung and is around 4 times heavier in movement.

Green is the colour of Hero's on the FRS. Wheels look ace imho.
Best colour for the shape of the car but you'd never want own a green one... hero... is...

With the Eibachs like Moby has, that's all that's required. OE is the new scene! ;)

Boring but true.

Not boring in the slightest, unsprung weight reduction is a good thing!

I personally wouldn't, purely as a car like that would not require modifying in my mind. Granted the Mountune kits and brakes are a great upgrade, but I think "showy" wheels start you down another road. Looks over performance...

I agree. I'm happy as f**k with mine running on the OE rims in dark anthracite. It looks hard as f**k, and they draw your eye into the yellow AP logos :approve:

I was just surprised that 20s don't make the RS look over-wheeled. I suppose we have to keep in mind that it's a photoshop of the actual look, not the actual look.

You've had yours re-furbed Roy? I thought you were silver fanboy?

Back OT, I think the BBS's look epic in the 'chop but wasn't there a pic of a white one on 20's posted a while back that looked horrendous?

  Not a 320d
DO IT.

Those wheels only though. Tyres will be a killer surely?!

However yours is a white transit van (jokes) and it may not look as good as it does with nob head green.

Gone off the green. Saw a green and a pb one this morning, pb looks great, works well with the spoiler/vents. Green just makes the details look ott, for me.
