it wont give you any more power that you will notice (if any at all). The energy engine is the s**t one anyway. The D7F (the diet) engine is the better, multi-point injection engine that the D4F and D4FT is based on. If your modifying the engine from standard, the insurance will go up much higher than a standard 1.4. If you want the car to sound more sporty, put an aftermarket IK and exhaust on it and decat.

just make this car perfect and don`t spend loads modding the engine for very little gain. Make this car low and smart with a very nice stereo this car could be amazing mate. Power is not everything. you could maybe upgrade brakes and suspension. That would give you a much better real world performance gain. Than Modding a basic engine.

Look at my profile the cars gotta be made higher because it scrapes, its got an exhaust, iv listed the mods, ino theres no point but its a question i wanted answering, as no one on here has anything constructive to say why all waste your time? Don't worry i found out other ways, you lot just got outsmarted by a 21 year old that your all trying to give your 'expert advice' too, a decat is illegal, engine swap without telling your insurance is also illegal so thanks for that along withone of the first comments i got telling me i was the one that was going to void my insurance.. This was the biggest waste of time if ever had while just trying to get info.. Turns out you lot are a bunch of dickheads that try and push your opinions and choices on others, not a group of helpful renault enthusiasts thanks for wasting my time, much apreciated..
