MK1 172 steering wheel...

has anybody elses stering wheel look really worn and scratched? ive tried polishing it to see if i can get it looking nicer but to no avail.

is this common on mk1 172s?

does anybody know where i can get a better one? apart from renault because i bet they are expensive!!!

Mine did this too. My car was mint apart from this never did find anything to get round it.

Suede innit not leather? Mines same, got chips in it where I lob full steering wheel lock over.

mines totally mint even with 55k on the clock...tbh i think the standard mk1 172 steering wheel is far too small to grap.

Why not recover it in Genuine Leather like the bottom section of the wheel

Im going to get mine done soon as since I got married, my wedding band is ripping chunks out of the Alcantara.

Dark grey leather to match the grey parts of the interior should do nicely

I find that anything scrathes it.

Such a shame as it makes the inside look crap!

my rubber grip split on the right side, and theyre replacing the whole wheel under warrenty. just squeezed it too hard.
