Mk1 172 Wing Mirrors

Hi all

Just a quick question. Just had a prat take off my drivers side wing mirror on my mk1 172.

The mirror is just a bit scatched, so I can sort that but the glass is obliterated!
Am I right in thinking that they are heated as well as electric?

Does the glass from a Mk2 wing mirror fit a Mk1 or did they change shape?

The part number I have from reading off the back is 1226 3370

Can anyone help out? Or anyone with access to Renault parts get me a price?

the wing mirrors from both the ph1 and ph2 are the same, so the glass will fit.

around £20 according to dialogys for the glass, probably wrong though (had to guess a few things)

Yep there heater easy way to see is there any wires going to the glass?

That numbers not a Renault part number though your looking for a 10 digit number but any Renault dsealership can find it from your number places shouldn't be to bad price wise.

I have had a similar problem, some t**t hit my wing mirror, but also broke there's and left it lying in the road. My neighbour found it and give it to me, it's from a Renault and the part number is also 1226 3370, Can anyone help to find out what model of Renault it is from so I can look out for it. My car was parked out side a local bread makers in a small village, so Iam hoping it's a local person getting bread etc.
