MK1 172 Won't start but turning over????

Hi guys,

Over the last week i've whipped the gearbox out of my Clio 172 to get the synchro's sorted & have put it back in this weekend.

I've now come to re-start the car after putting everything back in & the car turns over fine but just won't fire??

The immobiliser light on the dash doesn't seem to be flashing as though the Immob is on.

I've replaced the TDC sensor this morning also & still no luck??

I can't hear the fuel pump priming when I try & start the car & even if I hard wire the pump to run permanently it just won't fire??

And ideas guys as i'm doing a lot of this?

Well thanks for all your help & suggestions lads, :dapprove: got it sorted in the end. Found out it was the second gearbox earth underneath the inlet not connected.
