Might even be ET43

All I know is 16" Mk2 Alloys fit perfectly with no rubbing on a Mk1

Shouldnt have any impact the allow will be 33 mm closer to the car so might scrap if they do just get some spacers to get them back to thwere they shoudl be.

This is assuming the wheels the same width and has the same circumferance.

out of topic.... but will 195/55/15 tyres fit the mk1 172? oem is 195/50/15 so not sure if the tyres will scrap the top.
