Hello, newbies here just picked up this little mk1 1.4 RT, been sat in a field for a few years surprisingly not rotted away and in decent shape considering, currently a non runner, I plan on putting it in the garage and doing a 172 conversion on it eventually, won’t be a fast built just a project to mess with in my spare time. But for now own, get it running, tidied up and through MOT to use and enjoy.

The ph3 headlight failure strikes again 
Was really ragged around the field mate im suprised its in as good a condition as it isThe ph3 headlight failure strikes again
new headlights already on order hahaGot the clio home last night, cleaned of a load of green Moss and had a quick scrub down, Rot wise there is hardly anything witch I’m surprised about after being sat in a field since it’s last MoT ran out in 2015, clearly I’m in need of a set of headlights, wheels and possibly a pair subframes

Done a bit more cleaning today and removed the broken headlights ready for the new set to go in when they arrive! I’m very surprised with the overall condition of her tbh given the length of time she was sat and neglected. With a good T-cut and buff she’ll come up somewhat decent, although there are plenty of scratches with only 2 major scuffs to the front as pictured and on the passenger side rear door/quarter
