Mk1 Clio 172 VIN location

This has been asked before, but I couldnt find an answer!!

Can a MK1 Clio 172 owner please tell me where I can locate the VIN??

I know there is a plastic label on the drivers side sill, but is there something more solid in the engine bay??

alright, its been pissing down all night, so not had a chance to look, when it clears up, il have a look

isnt it stamped on the shocker turret under the bonnet.

also on window etchings and some models have a small plate on the dash top as well.

^^^iirc, its just along a bit from the release clip under the bonnet
