mk1 clio engines

  Golf Mk3 Gti 8v
what is the difference from all of the mk1 engines
does this sound about rite
1.2 1.4 1.8 [8v] all look the same but obviously bigger
then the valver is a fe16 or something and is bigger looking because of the extra 8v and is the willie engine the same as the valver just tuned more or something just wondering
thanks joe

ther was a 1.1 engine

1.2 and 1.4 were 8v energy engine, iirc they look the same, but some were spi and some were mpi

You have the 1.8 rt which is a 1.8 8v spi, this looks different, and is s**t slow compared to the 1.8 8v mpi found in the rsi, rsi engine is f3p

You then ahve the valver engine 1.8 16v, f7p

Then you have the williams 2.0 16v, 77r.

You also have the f3r which is a 2.0 8v spi and mpi as found in maganes and lagunas, these are the f3p engine bored out
