mk1 clio headlight wiring, will it take 160/90 bulbs?

As title, can I just whack a set of 160/90 bulbs in my clio valver without melting the wiring, or will I need to stick them on relays?

I wouldn't use such a high wattage bulbs....relays fitted or not...there is a risk of melting the headlamps too...

Hmm, thanks for the info.

Might look at HID's instead then.
