My exhaust was knackered, so after cutting it off thre car, and trying to weld rust for 3 hours, i gave up. 
anyways, What i am wondering,
I need a new peice of pipe from cat back to the back box, does the mid pipe stop before the rear beam or does the pipe continue over the axle and the back box joins there???
The reason i ask is my old one was a custom welded thing i got with the car, and the back box connects just above the rear torsion beam,
So what i am thinking is, I would need the mid pipe, and the backbox, only to cut the backbox off near the box, and put mine on, ????
Would a 16v one fit, ? as i am changing my engine soon anyways,
Its a 1.2 Mk1 Ph3
