Mk1 Flat spot

Ever since i bought my mk1 a couple of months ago, it has had this horrible flat spot when its cold, in all gears.Seems to dissappear when it warms up.

Getting dangerous now lol.Especially pulling out onto main roads first thing in the morning.

Anyone have any ideas, anything common that would cause this?
I was thinking maybe dodgy choke or something.

As idiotic as it sounds, check the emissions sensor, or the oxygen sensor. Check and clean them up. Should be fine after that.
