Mk1 gearknob???

I couldn't budge mine when i had it. Ended up just swapping the inserts over as i wasn't putting an aftermarket one on it.

Use a mole grip on it, but that will ruin it.
They just twist off (turn it left as iirc it has a thread in it) I got hold of a thing called a 'gator grip' basically it's just an adjustable rubber thing which you put round it, it doesn't ruin the gear knob at all.

This was on a valver ages ago btw.
