Mk1 Non 16v - 70mm down at front on 45/R15 profile?

As above, is this doable with the std non-16v arches?

Going to have some 195/45/R15 wheels slapped on with 70mm front springs...need to know if its going to tear my front wings off or not!!

Doubt it.

Well, maybe.

195/50's 35mm scraped on the back on bumps and on full lock.

195/45's 35mm seemed ok!

195/45 down 70mm, I'm guessing, might scrape, but I never tried.. would have looked great though I think on my 1.2.. wish I'd have tried it!

mines down -55mm on 195/45/15 tyres and theres still quite alot of room around the tyre i reckon if ya can find the springs and take splash guards out ur in with some luck!!!!

My RT was lowered around 70mm on GAZ coilovers as this was the highest setting on the pre-load adjuster. Didnt have much choice really and it did catch the archs slightly.
