I wouldnt call myself a mechanic at all and i have a small idea about tunning. my gti runs cams kms etc but everything i know about that car i learnt by getting stuck in and hope todo the same with the clio but never tackled a carb engine before so was just wondering if theres any adjustments that can be made with a spanner and a screwdriver to see any gains or stop any problems?. Will collect the car tonight so want to get it in the garage and start playing

If you have a 106 GTI why would you then want to tune a Clio RT?


My advice would be to not touch the carb unless you know what you're doing.

lol because currently my gti doesnt have an engine in it and its being stripped to the shell and rebuilt so bought the clio for getting to the pub and work. Not to concerned with screwing the engine or not plenty of engines around here to drop in for 50 quid

But if you know of something fire away.
