MK1 service!!

Right i think its about time i serviced my car!!!

I want to do it my self as i have a lot of time off work so need something to pass away the time!!!

What partys do i need to do a service by my self??

I think i will see how this goes, then in 3 months i shall service it again and change the CAM belt and stuff as she's getting on a bit now!!!

Plus is there a service kit i can buy from anywhere, i have been to halfrauds and they dont know their bum from their elbow!!

If you just wanted to do a basic service and not all the belts.

Engine Oil
Anti Freeze
Oil filter
Air filter
Spark plugs.
Check brake pads/discs
check brake fluid level.

Could even do the AUX belt if you wanted As you don't have to take any covers off like the cam belt pretty much only need a 13mm spanner for this..

Forget a service kit just buy the bits you need
