Mk1 Short Shifter??

ive got a 1.2i mk1 clio, and i seen this short shifter from k-tec racing and had a few questions maybe someone could help ...

questions are, Would anybody recommend this, Will i be able to fit it to my 1.2, Will i damage my gearbox, and how hard are they to fit?

any help / pics of short shifters in mk'1's would be great, cheers

check the parts for sale, you can get the exact same thing for £70, lots of people have bought them and highly recommended.

As said, I've bought one out of the for sale section. It's very nice quality. Worth £70 all day long.

In terms of it damaging your gearbox, it will if you try and force it into gear. The shortshift won't allow you to shift faster, just improves the 'feel' of the shift.

Okay paul ill take your word for it, new knob and gaiter it is lol, had few problems last week with car lol, wouldn't idle below 3000, but disconnected battery for 10 mins then connected and seems to be fine now, ecu must have spazzed!
