When starting my 54 plate mk2 ph2 1.2 on a cold morning if it has been left unused for a day or two it will struggle to start or take many attempts too. When it does finally start, it tries to stall unless revs keep going and idles very roughly. If i can drive it anywhere it is a big struggle to pull off from standing until i have been driving for about 20mins and by then the car appears to have warmed up and will run normally again.
The engine management light is also often coming on when this happens. Any help?
I have been to a garage, but as its an intermittent fault and was fine when i left it with them, they just charged me for changing the spark plugs, which has not fixed it!
