Mk2 172 shocks.

  tiTTy & SV650
lol same as my uncup'd 182 shocks.

u know how long mine last. depends on your luck, some burst some don't but i've had 7 rears on my car in 2 years (26k miles)

never had a problem with the fronts

Depends they last longer than 1782 ones usually but 3 years /60k assuming hard driving would be a good rough adverage.

Have Clio 172 2003 model.

Bust a shock on way back from Scotland - 300 miles of steady(ish) wallowy driving.

Cost me £85 from AC Williams Renault at Grantham......not covered by 3yr warranty - they only cover them for 2 yrs.

Looked at the previous car history......I've had the car 6 months......and found out all the shocks had been replaced just over a year ago!

The car has done 42k and the guy I bought it off used to travel about 60 miles round trip to work each day.

On second cat aswell.

Its covered under warently ring Renault UK to get your money back getting the money off them for the labour isn't worth even trying.
Shocks arn't covered but in the fitness for purpose act they have to survive a suitable lenght of time.

Didn't want to push my luck with the warranty thing.

Look like previous owner got some thing on the steering wheel and whilst trying to get it off just made the steering wheel shiny and blistered.

Not nice.

Moaned to Renault about it saying it was getting worse and they replaced it.....

£ 420 quid if you pay yourself........
