MK2 2001 reverse lights too dim

They are so dim I can hardly notice that they are working and hopeless for reversing safely. This has probably come up before. Best solution?

Hi. As above, CREE LED is the way to go. Been a few advances since that thread too, use of LEDs on the side of the bulb also help to improve output and visibility.
