mk2 clio 172 servicing

hello all,

should be picking up a mk 2 clio 172 sometime this week and was a little unsure what the servicing times were for them. i've seen the sticky thread however that mentions its not for mk 2 clio rs cars.

can anyone tell me what the servicing scheduale is for these cars?

1 year or 12k i believe
36k or 3 years (whichever is sooner) for aux belt
5 years or 72k (whichever is sooner) for Cambelt

cheers mate for that,

i take it after the '5 years or 72k' service im looking at another basic on at 84k, followed by an aux belt one at 108k and then the cambelt one at 144k and then so on and on?

on these services is it similar (as it whats checked/replaced) to the servicing guide sticky except the timings for the aux belt and cam belt?

As far as i'm aware all the services are the same, only thing that differs it when it's time to get the belts done.

Getting the belts replaced is not a service, it's just changing the belts.

If it was me I'd get the aux changed same time as the cambelt anyway. (Think you have to)

But a basic service is once a year or every 12k, whichever happens sooner.
